Housing Support at Stjärnorpsgatan in Motala is now looking for several committed housing supporters who want to work as hourly and vacation substitutes during the absence of regular staff.

About the job:

On behalf of Motala Municipality, we operate a category housing for adults with a focus on addiction, where we provide support and supervision around the clock for 10 participants. The assignment also includes two transition placements within the municipality. As a housing supporter, you provide daily supervision and interventions based on the participant's needs and conditions. You work proactively, motivating and supporting individuals in their pursuit of a more independent life while helping to limit the harm caused by addiction. You work based on individual implementation plans and collaborate daily with both internal and external stakeholders. The role also involves administrative responsibility for daily documentation and is the primary contact with authorities.

About you:

We are looking for someone who can create a safe, calm, and positive atmosphere both in the workgroup and among our participants. You are good at building relationships and have a strong ability to understand and empathize with others. At the same time, you are clear and consistent when it comes to setting boundaries. Since our operations are adapted to the varying needs and conditions of the participants, you need to be flexible and solution-oriented. You have personal maturity and good self-awareness, and you enjoy working collaboratively with others. At the same time, you are self-driven and like to take your own initiatives in your work.

We are looking for you who have:

• An ongoing vocational education as a treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, or have other education that the employer deems equivalent.
• Documented knowledge of and/or experience in working with addiction issues, mental health, and functional variations.
• The ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish.
• A valid driver's license (B).

Meritorious:

• Training in ÅP, ASI, and/or MI.
• Training in LAB.

Other:

The operation runs around the clock, and shifts are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends with sleeping on duty.
